FLR Book Brainstorming

Post links on the Blogspot to at least ONE book you would love to read but haven’t had time; these should be books by American authors, and not in our 6-12 curriculum. Your posting should include:
- title
- author
- link to a preview of the book (amazon.com, author webpage)

Your posting should NOT be on a book currently on the list... choose another one, if yours is already here.

Ella:
Oh and an addition,
The Dead Father by
Donald Barthelme.

It is post-modern novel
which is a "manual for sons"

it explores the ideas of creation an procreation through the eyes of a family trying to bury their father

it is told in a series of ancedotes and dialogs

+ said to be slighty autobiographical about the authors struggle with his father's disaproval of the way he lives.
