The Laguna Pueblo currently reside in Laguna, New Mexico. It currently has a population of 7,700 and is the largest Keresan-speaking (dialect of the Keres people located in New Mexico) pueblo. Pueblos are used to describe communities of Native American communities in Southwest USA. The six villages it has includes Encinal, Laguna, Mesita, Paguate, Paraje and Seama. Each community has its own feast days. However, they all celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph on Sep. 19. People dance and follow a crowd from San Jose Mission Church, and many booths are set up, selling Native American crafts and pottery. More information about the church is available at: http://www.newmexico.org/native_america/explore/jose_de_laguna.php. The Laguna Development Corporation, charted under the 1934 Indian Recognition Act, handles many of the businesses in the city.
Their reservation is located at 35°02′15″N 107°15′03″W.
