Members of many different Native American tribes were used as code talkers in order to send covert messages in their native tribal languages during battles without fear of them being intercepted by the axis intelligence workers.

In World War II there were many different invasions and attacks that happened throughout the course of the war. The first location of invasion was the invasion of Poland from the Germans. This invasion happened in September of 1939. The Japanese invaded Manchuria in September of 1931 starting the Sino-Japanese war in Eastern Asia which later conjoined with with the major European war creating a world conflict (World War II). The major areas of the war would be in all of Europe. ----------------------------------- The following are the most important battles and Dates of the battles.

Berlin: April 16 - May 2, 1945
Britain: July 10 - October 31, 1940
Bulge: December 16, 1944 - January 25, 1945

Guadalcanal Campaign: August 7, 1942 - February 9, 1943
Iwo Jima: February 19 - March 16, 1945
Kursk: July 5 - August 23, 1943

Leyte Gulf: October 23-26, 1944
Midway: June 3-6, 1942

World war II was a global military conflict in which started in 1939 and lasted all the way through 1945.
During the war, advancements in technology and warfare increased greatly in the air, at sea, and on ground.
In Air: Fighters and bombers maintained their large roles. New strategic bombing plans were also implemented
At Sea: Aircraft carriers and submarines played a major role during the war at sea. Which allowed many different types of warfare to arise.
On Land: The tank which had been used a bit in World War I developed into being used primarily in World War II which opened up an arrangement of new types of warfare also.
