Booker T.
-believed that African Americans should wait for their rights and privileges to be given to them, rather than fighting for them.

-Believed that African Americans have stood by whites throughout history and they have connections to families

- "Cast your bucket down where you are" He thought African Americans should stay where they are and look for opportunities around them

-Founded Tuskegee Institute. This was a school for Blacks that taught them how to preform certain tasks that would help them in life. (essentially a University)

W.E.B Dubois:

-Aggressively fought for the African American rights.

-Strongly opposed and disagreed with Booker T. Methods.

-To achieve basic rights, a community as a whole must all stand up and fight for them.

-In order for the USA to be united they must give the African Americans their rights because they also participated in slavery. The south needs to be led so everyone follows an accurate moral code.

Both:

-Believed in African American rights.
